Vincent Walsh Auctioneers would suggest registering your property with a holiday letting company ( We recommend this as they have a content managing system that controls booking on the property / deposits etc. They will provide you with a spreadsheet of your turnovers and booking dates and we can manage turnover from here.

If it is a case you have been to late in the year to register – we would them suggest to place an Advertisement on / and manage the bookings. We would require booking deposits from interested parties along with full payment for booking 4 weeks prior to accommodation let.

One must be sure not to double book the accommodation.


Self Catering Accommodation consist of:

  • Linen / Towels / Beds & Cots / Dishes / Cutlery / Working Appliances / Provide 1 Refuse bag charge for remainder required etc.
  • You will need to agree on terms of use for the rental accommodation. We will have packages that include guidelines.
  • Security Deposit / Return of Security Deposit / Damages
  • Key Allocation – place key in pick up point or otherwise specified.
  • Utility Charges: Separately Metered or are you going to monitor ie: Oil / ESB / Refuse
  • Additional Property Tax: €200.00 More information: or check with your accountant.
  • Cleaning facilities for the property turnover are required and are at an extra charge. A twice yearly spring clean or thorough clean out of property is strongly advised.
  • Laundry facilities can be provided – this will be an extra charge.
  • Refuse Collection are at an extra charge. You can avail of a pay as you go bag system or refuse bin Collection system generally paid at a yearly rate.
  • Landscaping Services- you will need to maintain lawns. This option can be completed by property owner or we have services available to provide same.
